Holiday Event at Summit for The Shoebox Project

Show Up is a social volunteering events company. We set up FUN events where you can volunteer and party at one of your favorite local bars, breweries... or in this case, at Summit Seltzer! 

For this event, we are featuring Charlotte's chapter of The Shoebox Project. The Shoebox Project is a nationwide official 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps women who are impacted by homelessness. For the holidays, they focus on not only providing essential items, but also providing gifts that women would enjoy! It is their goal to make sure each woman feels seen, feels dignity, and knows there is a community of kindness supporting her. 

THE EVENT: We are preparing 250+ gift boxes! Show Up participants will inspect gift donations (already provided) to ensure nothing is used, expired, etc. Next, you will curate and assemble the gifts into boxes for local women in need. Then, wrap it up and make it beautiful for the holidays! Last, we will make sure to help get all boxes loaded into the proper vehicle, ready for distribution. There will be live music playing throughout the entire event, by local musician, Kris Hitchcock. We will enjoy drinks by Summit and there will be food available.

Also included: event swag (event t-shirt, event cup, all natural, locally made lip balm), photo station and professional photographer. Best of all, 20% of  your ticket is a direct donation to The Charlotte Shoebox Project! You will have a chance to mingle, party and enjoy time with friends! Are you ready to SHOW UP?
